Calgary's own Augusta Fine Homes has a marvellous selection of home models to fit this description, and today we would like to show you around the 2,881 square foot Ames model.

This a gorgeous home, with a triple-car garage and plenty of fabulous features so let's take a look inside.

The Main Level

From the moment you step foot into the grand foyer, you're greeted by the warmth and comfort of home. Upon entering you'll find a beautiful cabinet to both store convenient items such as a briefcase or purse and to also serve as an elegant welcome to the home. In addition, a spacious front closet is nearby for coats, hats, and the like.

Ahead of you is a view through the comfortable, spacious great room. Four characteristic and expansive windows line the wall at the back of the home providing a clear view to the great outdoor space. The great room and dining area is a sprawling open concept save for the stunning two-way fireplace defining the spaces and providing a focal point to each of the rooms. This is an ideal space for endless cozy nights around the fireplace for two, or an evening of entertaining plenty of guests.

Open to both great room and dining is the kitchen, which boasts a stylish layout and well-planned functionality. The focal point of this space is the craftsman style chimney hood, framed neatly by symmetrical cabinets on either side and gorgeous posts on the lower cabinets. From there your sprawling, oversized island creates a beautiful space for both preparing your dishes, as well as displaying your delicious masterpieces. A sizable lower table is attached for a casual dining or gathering space. An additional set of elegant cabinets line the adjacent wall, which also offers space for your king-size chef’s refrigerator.

French doors from the kitchen lead into your bright open den. The way this space is situated, it is ideal for a home office, library, music room, or if your backyard faces south or west, even an atrium.

Adjoining your kitchen to the front of your home is a generous walk-through pantry. With three sets of shelving and an additional set of upper and lower cabinets, you’ll find all the space you need to organize your food items.

Your pantry flows through to your mudroom and your entrance to the triple-car garage. The mudroom provides two spacious storage cabinets on either side of the garage door, as well as a convenient coat closet. A half bathroom is tucked neatly around the corner beside the pantry for access from anywhere on the main floor.

The exquisite visual feature of this floor is the open-to-above-and-below winding staircase. Its placement at the front of the home near the foyer provides a stunning elegance to the design without compromising on usable space.

Let’s ascend to the upper floor.

The Second Level

At the top of the winding staircase you’ll find both a cozy loft and spacious bonus room. With plenty of windows in the stairway, as well as on two walls in the bonus room, this space is bright, airy, and welcoming.

A hallway leads to both secondary bedrooms and a shared full main bathroom. A large linen closet caps the end of the hallway, conveniently located between all rooms for easy storage of linens, cleaning products, and the like.

A large, relaxed laundry room is tucked neatly between the master and secondary bedrooms for utmost suitability. With plenty of cabinet and countertop space, as well as a practical laundry sink, washing will be less of a chore in this space.

From here we enter the grand master suite. Your master bedroom is open and brilliant, lined with windows on two walls. The tray ceiling adds a new dimension of interest to the space, and the layout of the room is flexible for adding any size bed without impeding the airiness.

In the centre of the upper floor we find a walk-in closet fit for storing all of your clothing and shoes. Accessible via the main hallway, as well as the master ensuite, this closet keeps you well organized with an abundance of shelving, hanging spaces, and comfortable bench seating.

Your master ensuite is truly your sanctuary. Separate, dual vanities are situated on the far side of the space with two sizable windows between for plenty of light. A toilet room is tucked neatly next to your closet as to not hinder the flow of the room. An oversized glass shower offers an elegant, spacious place to start the day, while a spa-like freestanding tub provides the ultimate space for evening bubble baths.

The ceilings in both the main and upper floors are nine feet in height, adding to the overall feel of space and comfort.

The Lower Level

This space is yours to create! If you are a wine connoisseur (or would like to be), this space is ideal for a spacious and organized wine room, wet bar, and recreational area. Create an exercise or spa room with massage table. The possibilities are endless!

Depending on which estate community you choose, your front elevation can be craftsman style with fashionable brackets, shakes, and stonework. Other communities may offer a more contemporary, clean elevation design. We invite you to visit any one of our show homes to discuss how this model can be your ideal next new home.
